BOO! Did I scare you? I have decided to start a new series on my blog! I am super excited and I think this will help with consistency and diversity here. I am going to be putting up monthly trilogies! The first will be a DIY project then I will share a recipe of some kind and lastly an outfit post! I'm super pumped to be starting this new series this month because of the wonderful Holidays up ahead.
So for this month's DIY project I am showing you a few ideas for some easy Halloween paintings! These are super cool because if you want you can frame them and save them for next year or just toss them come November. Also Here in Spain Halloween isn't really celebrated so there really aren't any places to get decorations.
One more thing before we get started. Although this is a trilogy I may make more decorations and if I do i'll go ahead and share them with you! But for sure there will be at least three part to this trilogy series. And with out further ado, let's get started!
Ok so here is a list of the supplies you will need:
Old flowers
Water colors (or really any time of paint or coloring device.)
Paint brushes
Paper
Twine or string
Glue gun
First things first you are going to splatter red paint all over you paper. I even did a little finger painting action to add just a dash of creepy to the already spooky project. Next you will pick out your flowers and arrange them into a small bouquet. When you have it looking the way you want it, tie it up with some sort of string or twine. Then grab your handy dandy glue gun and glue it down. Lastly you will want to splatter more red paint onto the flowers. Voila! nothing screams Halloween than bleeding flowers.

Because I was in the painting spirit I decided to go ahead and make a few more prints. Here I simply painted a huge drop of blood, some green spooky eyes and of course "BOO." I don't know if you've noticed or not but I accidentally smudged the "BOO" and then I tried to cover it up by adding more smudges. Ha. See people every mess is really just another opportunity to practice creativity.
I hope you've enjoyed my first part of this month's trilogy! Are you putting up decorations this month? What are you making for this Holiday season? Let me know in the comments below people!
Happy Halloween!
