So One of my new changes in 2013 is a new eating lifestyle; The Paleo Diet.
The Paleo Diet simply is eating what our ancestors would be eating, nothing processed, lots of meat, fruit and vegetables. It is truly hardcore. But John and I have made some changes to the diet to fit us best. Lets be honest, eating nothing processed is just ridiculous. So here is a list of things we can eat on our new diet:
- all veggies
- dairy in moderation
- cage free meats (only when on sale)
- lots of sweet potatoes (but we will still eat a regular potato every now and then)
- olive oil
- brown rice only
- beans
- nuts
- all fruit
- sea salt
-honey
Also to make life even more simple, we are doing an 80/20 diet philosophy. Meaning 80% we are really strict to the new rules, and 20% we are care free. :] Anyway a post is coming soon of our first couple days on this new adventures. good luck to me.
