Here are the last of the pictures of our road trip to Cali. We have now been in California for almost two weeks! I can't believe we've only been here for that long. It feels like forever. We have been living out of suit cases for too long. But we finally got our own room and we have un-packed most of our things. It is starting to feel more homey and less vacation. We are like hermit crabs always moving and finding new homes. It is still so sad to think that Memphis is no longer my home, but it is also exciting to know where we are going. :] Home, what does that really mean anyway? What makes a home a home? Right now, John is my home and adventure is my home. I'd like to say Christ is my home (He is even if I don't "feel" Him.) It is so easy to get distracted by the family and friends, the beautiful city and the crazy to-do list but I need to be reminded daily that no matter my circumstances-whether good or bad- Christ is my home, my strength, my comfort, my joy and my refuge.
