When my brother-in-law invited us to come to his neighbor's food truck's food tasting I jumped at the opportunity! Free food? Who wouldn't say "yes?" What I knew about the truck before I went was that It was local fresh ingredients, sounds wonderful already right? I was blown away by the flavors and for his passion for fresh food. I had an amazing churrizo burrito with yummy potatoes! It was full of flavor and had just the perfect amount of spice! My brother-in-law had a veggie burger! His was also full of so much flavor it basically melted in your mouth. (my mouth is watering as I type.) For dessert we had paletas! OH paletas, how I love you so. If you don't know what a paleta is; It's a mexican popsicle filled with delicious fruits or chocolate or caramel and lots and lots of cream! My paleta had dulce de leche in it!!! Heaven on a stick. The food was amazing but what I love most was the passion for local, fresh flavors. Good Heavens partnership with other local food venders was a highlight in my experience. I appreciate the passion for good food and a good price. If you get a chance please go try their food! Let me know what you liked best on their menu!
