A family tradition.

Growing up I had some pretty special family traditions around the holidays. And when you grow and move out these are always things you miss. I am so thankful for becoming part of a new family, and with my new family comes new traditions. This one is my Fave. My sister-in-law is so brilliant. Her and her husband have a tradition with their boys called Polar Express Night. I am honored to say that I have been apart of the awesome night 2 years in a row! BOOYAH!
So, what happens at this said night? Well first we have a huge feast with so many wonderfully home cooked items, then my sister and my nephews go through the story of Jesus being born. I get to witness such a beautiful moment between Mother and children. The moment where you get to teach your children the Truth. Then my sister and brother-in-law share the meaning behind giving gifts and then they give everyone (including us.) a new pair of Christmas PJ's. It is so lovely.
Then we watch, yup you guessed it, Polar Express! And I would share what happens while we are watching the movie but then it wouldn't so special. Let's just say we get to experience our own "Hot Chocolate Performance" and let's just also say, don't you wish you were part of my family?

What are some Holiday traditions you have with your family?
